What sets the price of a porta potty rental?
Five things set a Harrisburg porta potty price: the delivery ZIP, the unit type, the rental dates, how often it is serviced, and how many units you order. Changing any one of them changes the quote, and each one is a separate line you can see.
| Factor | How it changes the price |
|---|---|
| Location (ZIP) | Core ZIPs at base price; extended ZIPs (Carlisle, Lebanon, York, Lancaster) add $35. |
| Unit type | Standard lowest; sink, accessible, deluxe and trailer cost more. |
| Dates | Events are flat for up to 4 days; longer stays move to the 28-day rate. |
| Servicing | Weekly included on monthly; each extra visit $75. |
| Quantity | Multi-unit orders get a lower per-unit price. |
What does a real Harrisburg porta potty quote look like?
A Harrisburg graduation party for 100 guests over 4 hours needs 2 standard units and 1 hand-wash station. That quote is 2 × $195 plus $150, plus 6% Pennsylvania sales tax, with delivery the day before and pickup the next business day included.
| Hypothetical example | Line items | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Graduation party, 100 guests, Camp Hill | 2 standard × $195 + 1 hand-wash $150 + 6% tax | Delivered Friday, picked up Monday |
| Kitchen remodel, 6 weeks, Midtown | $185 × 1 cycle + $55 + final 2 weeks billed by the week + tax | Weekly service included |
| Septic backup, same day, Lower Paxton | $195 event rate + $75 same-day fee + tax | Switch to monthly if repair runs past 4 days |

Porta potty pricing questions
Why do some websites show porta potties for $50 to $100?
Low online prices usually show a daily rate or leave out delivery, pickup, servicing and tax. A Harrisburg event rental from us starts at $195 with delivery and pickup included, so compare the total on each written quote, not the headline number.
Is the porta potty price per day?
Event prices are flat for up to 4 days, not per day. Monthly prices are per 28-day cycle with weekly service. There is no hourly or daily meter running.
Is tax included in the porta potty quote?
Pennsylvania 6% sales tax is shown as its own line on every quote, so the total you approve is the total you pay. Tax-exempt groups such as churches and schools can send their exemption certificate to remove it.
Do you charge a fuel surcharge?
We do not add a fuel surcharge or a card fee. Addresses outside our core area pay a flat extended-delivery charge that is shown on the quote.
Do you offer discounts?
Multi-unit orders, contractor accounts with several sites, and nonprofit events get reduced per-unit pricing. Ask on the call; the discount is written on the quote.
Do I pay up front?
Event rentals are paid by card when you book. Monthly rentals are billed at the start of each 28-day cycle. Contractor accounts can be set up with invoices.
