Questions about porta potty types
What is the difference between a standard and a deluxe porta potty?
A standard porta potty has a seat, urinal and hand sanitizer but no flush or water. A deluxe porta potty adds a foot-pump flush, a sink with soap and towels, a mirror and often a light. Deluxe units cost more and suit weddings and showers.
Which porta potty is cheapest?
The standard porta potty is the lowest-cost unit, starting at $195 for an event of up to 4 days or $185 per 28 days on a job site. A standard unit plus a separate hand-wash station often costs more than one unit with a sink inside.
Will a porta potty fit through my backyard gate?
A standard porta potty is about 44 inches wide, so it needs a gate at least 48 inches wide to be carried through on a dolly. A wheelchair-accessible unit is about 7.5 feet wide and needs a driveway-width opening.
Do porta potties have urinals?
Standard, sink and deluxe units all have a small urinal next to the seat. Wheelchair-accessible units and restroom trailer stalls usually do not.
